Egyptian artist depicted the human figure in an unusual but logical manner, showing the most interesting angles:
The profile of the face and legs, and the front of the torso and eye. They made the figures tall, slim, and wide-shouldered, following strict proportions.
It was as if they fitted each figure into a grid, as shown here, always placing the knee on the sixth line from the bottom, The shoulders three from the top and six squares wide, and so on.
With the small grid as a guide, draw the figure in the larger grid.
